Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED or 5 years work equivalency.
• Requires forklift certification within six months of attaining position.
• Requires three years of manufacturing experience. Prior experience as a production machine operator or utility worker preferred.
• Stand and often walk for full shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate a forklift in congested areas.
• Read batch records and safety instructions; wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Pull raw materials from warehouse for batch production.
• Blend ingredients per batch records and discharge into sacks up to 1,000 kilos; weigh accurately.
• Apply MES to Stage, Charge and Yield products.
• Make entries on batch records, labels and logbooks with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of blending equipment and room per standards.
• Operate sieve analysis and moisture testing to ensure product quality.
• Subdivide bulk product for outside sales per instructions.
• Maintain FDA/pharma records and related documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
