Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking an entry-level general laborer for the 1ST SHIFT at our Newbern, Tennessee facility.

This role supports mixing, measuring ingredients, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with Tyson policies. Responsibilities include reading batch tickets, using scales, loading materials with a forklift, performing cross-training, and maintaining production documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work 8–12 hour shifts.
• Adhere to GMPs and Tyson safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scale and measure all ingredients using various scales.
• Condense partial pallets of ingredients daily.
• Program liquid bulk and dry bulk system for mixer.
• Set up mixing platform with pre-scales.
• Read batch tickets for mixing instructions.
• Setup and maintain equipment and operate assigned equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment and complete production documentation.
• Know product specifications and ensure lines meet specs.
• Be willing to cross-train on other machines or areas.
• Follow oral and written instructions and maintain good attendance.
