Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is hiring a Metal Finisher/Blender (2nd shift) in the Orlando Service Center. The Metal Finisher/Blender will de-burr, buff, blend, clean, grind, mask, and polish components in accordance with company quality and production standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience or training. Strong reading, math, and communication skills, plus basic computer proficiency, are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of related experience or training.
• Able to read and understand basic instructions and communicate clearly.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement skills required.
• Able to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve routine problems.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, word processing, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and perform operations per drawings and work instructions.
• De-burr, buff, blend, clean, grind, mask, and polish components per quality standards.
• Operate bead blaster and perform TPMs on equipment.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.
• File, sand, deburr/polish, weld prep.

Role Overview

Mitsubishi Power is hiring a Metal Finisher/Blender (2nd shift) in the Orlando Service Center. The Metal Finisher/Blender will de-burr, buff, blend, clean, grind, mask, and polish components/parts in accordance with company quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
• Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions
• General knowledge of all other shop processes
• Multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision
• Perform TPMs on equipment
• File, sand, deburr / polish parts, and have the ability to perform weld prep
• Properly operate the bead blaster
• Perform other such duties as may be required

Requirements

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Communication Skills: Able to read and understand basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Math Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Problem-Solving: Capable of applying common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems involving multiple variables.
• Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in using personal computers and common software applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
