Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Blaster to join UTLX Manufacturing LLC in Alexandria, LA. You will operate interior and exterior blast equipment, perform safety checks, and prepare work areas by connecting hoses and positioning equipment.

Familiarity with NACE/SSPC standards is valued. You will read blueprints, use precision measuring devices, and operate computer-controlled blasting processes. Join a team where safety comes first and opportunities to grow within a decentralized organization

Qualifications

• 1 or more years’ experience operating interior/exterior blast equipment.
• Ability to perform pre-maintenance safety checks.
• Prepare work area: connect hoses, position equipment in appropriate location at work area, cover areas to protect, place parts in blast room.
• Familiarity with NACE/SSPC standards.
• Feed hose into car, arrange hose as needed in work area.
• Read and understand blueprints and use precision measuring devices.
• Operate computer.
• Rotate between blasting positions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate interior and exterior blast equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operation safety checks and routine maintenance.
• Set up work areas, connect hoses, position equipment, and protect surrounding areas.
• Read blueprints and use precision measuring devices to ensure accuracy.
• Operate computer-controlled blasting processes as required.
• Rotate between blasting positions to cover workflow.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by supervision.
