• Experience: Prior blast experience is preferred but not required.
• Working Conditions: Ability to walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach and stand for prolonged periods of time; push, pull and lift items up to 40lbs; exposure to excessive noise, dust and fumes; operate heavy machinery, power tools, or equipment and work at elevated heights or in confined spaces.

General Responsibilities

The Blaster is responsible for blasting interior and exterior coating to manufacturing specifications and Curry quality standards.

This position is classified as safety sensitive. Successful candidates must comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the company’s drug- and alcohol-free workplace requirements. Individuals in this role are subject to pre-employment, random, post-incident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing, consistent with applicable law and company policy. Violations of these policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

• Possesses a solid understanding of how the blaster is constructed and performs with the ability to diagnose and fix issues during the shift.
• Maintains an organized and clean work environment.
• Maintains a high standard of quality while adapting to a fast-paced work environment.
• Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
