Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers in Belen, NM is hiring a Blaster. You’ll prepare surfaces for coating, using hand tools and automated equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint and dirt.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt from interior and/or exterior product surfaces
• Operate automated equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt from interior and/or exterior product surfaces
• Maintain attendance within acceptable standards; daily housekeeping
• Learn system components to avoid downtime
• Assure safety of all team members; follow safety rules and procedures
• Maintain and improve quality; assist in training new or existing team members
• Lead jobs in the field; meet deadlines
• Safety activities: participate in safety committees and initiatives

As a blaster, you’ll prepare materials, surfaces, and structures for coverage with paint, laminate, rubber, or other material.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in completion of all tasks to meet deadlines
