Job summary

Guma-Warnii Resources is seeking experienced Blast Hole Drillers for a leading Australian mining contractor delivering production drilling and blasting services across major mining and civil projects. Location is Tennant Creek, NT with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off roster and FIFO from Perth, Queensland or the Northern Territory.

You’ll operate a T45 blast hole drill, aiming to meet production targets and contribute to safe, efficient drilling operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a T45 blast hole drill.
• Current unrestricted driver's licence; HR licence advantageous.
• Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to work on a 2:2 FIFO roster.

Responsibilities

• Operate a T45 blast hole drill safely and efficiently.
• Meet daily drilling productivity targets.
• Interpret drill patterns, site plans and blasting specs.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and assist with routine maintenance.
• Support other drill and blast activities as required.
• Adhere to site safety procedures and standards.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for operating a T45 blast hole drill, achieving production targets, and contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a T45 blast hole drill safely and efficiently.
• Achieve daily drilling productivity targets.
• Interpret drill patterns, site plans and blasting specifications.
• Conduct pre‑start inspections and assist with routine drill maintenance.
• Support other drill and blast activities as required.
• Work in accordance with all site safety procedures and operational standards.

About You

• Proven experience operating a T45 Blast Hole Drill.
• Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence (HR licence advantageous).
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work on a 2:2 FIFO roster.
