Are you an experienced heavy equipment operator with experience in vertical and/or horizontal earth drilling? Do you have a high mechanical aptitude and want to grow within the drilling and blasting industry with a stable, employee-owned company? If yes, we want to meet you!
The ideal candidate will have Down the Hole (DTH) drilling experience; top hammer experience is acceptable as cross-training is available. The primary work area is central eastern North Carolina, with potential travel to western NC or out of state. Most work involves quarry drilling with DTH drills, but top hammer experience is also relevant. Work hours range from 8 to 12 hours daily, depending on job demands. Candidates should be self-motivated, skilled in time management, and professional in interactions with customers and colleagues.

DRILL OPERATOR
Safely perform all construction or quarry drilling activities according to the job program to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
Maximize drill supply usage, inventory accessories, understand costs, and communicate terrain conditions to the supervisor. Maintain accurate reports, hole sheets, and timecards. Participate in meetings and work independently while adhering to safety practices. Complete Driller I and II certifications and perform other duties as assigned.
