Job summary

Quick Supply Co. is seeking an outdoor Blast Crew member in Mason City, IA to support blasting services at our location and at customer sites.

The role involves lifting 50+ pounds, working outside in all weather, loading and unloading vehicles, pulling hoses, shoveling, and moving heavy materials.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle physically demanding work outdoors on a daily basis.
• Must be able to work under various weather conditions on rough terrain.
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and compliance as top priority in daily tasks.
• Work closely with crew members to provide exceptional customer service.
• Load and unload vehicles per policy and regulations.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather, lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more of product and material on a regular basis.
• Pull hoses, shovel and frequently walk, bend, squat, stoop, twist to provide labor duties at the location and customer job sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Available to work overtime to meet customer objectives.

Job description

Our Blast Crews perform a wide variety of tasks at our location and customer sites in support of our blasting services. The tasks are performed outside in all weather conditions and include regularly moving items or objects weighing 50+ pounds, using shovels, pulling hoses, laying out products and carrying a wide variety of materials and tools.
