Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Visalia, CA is seeking a Blanker Operator to maintain the Blanking Department, produce blanks per schedule, and ensure safe, efficient operation of the machine.

You will perform visual quality checks, adjust the blanking machinery, complete roll and print changes, load blanks onto carts, and monitor ongoing quality while following all safety rules and company policies. Overtime including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing/industrial machine operator experience.
• Ability to retrieve and move blank carts using pallet jacks.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of the Blanking Department by producing blanks according to the schedule.
• Inspect the blanker to ensure guards, alignment, brakes, housekeeping and paperwork before starting production.
• Ensure quality via visual inspection and machine adjustments as needed.
• Complete roll changes or print changes and load blanks onto blank carts.
• Monitor blank and print quality during production and report issues.
• Follow all Graphic Packaging International work rules, code of conduct and safety policies.
