Blake Equipment Warehouse Associate - Greenfield, MA

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a clean, safe and efficient warehouse by ensuring stock is handled and dispositioned in an organized manner
  • Prepare all shipments including pulling stock and preparation of invoices
  • Receive all incoming shipments; including inspecting for damages and auditing for accuracy
  • Put stock away in proper location after it has been received in the ERP system
  • Assist in loading and unloading of trucks
  • Assist with the maintenance of inventory control and cycle counts
  • Assists with deliveries and customer service as needed
  • Performs other related duties as needed

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to create routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Acceptable MVR per Automobile Insurer guidelines; must be able to meet this requirement during annual insurance review, if required
