Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a Blade Utility Operator to support the blade assembly process, including radius grinding, OD grinding, brazing, and finishing of diamond blades. Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Friday 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

You will load and machine segments, prep cores, handle materials, and ensure quality with strict safety compliance (OSHA/EPA). We offer day-one medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with matching, education assistance, and opportunities for advancement.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math and metric system knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 20 lbs.
• Standing/walking on concrete floors for full shifts.
• Compliance with PPE and safety protocols.

Mansioni

• Load and machine segments for radius grinding.
• Prep and clean cores via washing, sandblasting, and polishing.
• Assist with fixture loading on manual lasers.
• Handle materials and move blades between workstations.
• Load, sharpen, mark, and mask blades for finishing.
• Hang and remove blades from the paint line.
• Follow company policies and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
• Organize and select proper tooling.
• Maintain and clean manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct visual quality checks and record completion data.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure inspection standards.
