Job Description

This role involves handling legal and corporate matters related to distribution and fundraising across all Blackstone products.

Responsibilities

1. Drafting and negotiating distribution agreements with banks and wealth management firms globally.
2. Designing and launching new fundraising initiatives.
3. Supporting fund formation and product development across jurisdictions.
4. Monitoring legal and regulatory developments impacting fund distribution.
5. Providing legal advice to investment and business teams.
6. Managing legal matters for proprietary funds.
7. Overseeing junior team members and external counsel.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

• A J.D. from a top law school and be a registered attorney.
• 6+ years of experience in asset management or fund formation from a law firm or investment management firm.
• Knowledge of U.S. and offshore fund regulations; familiarity with retail-focused evergreen funds is a plus.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information
