Job summary

Core Natural Resources, Inc. is seeking a Mine Foreman candidate in Gillette, WY, to maintain and repair plant control processing equipment and conveyor systems. The role requires ability to work in adverse conditions and read blueprints, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, some heavy maintenance experience, and be willing to obtain Wyoming Mine Foreman certification within one year. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Must meet our 3 core values; Safety, Sustainability and Continuous Improvement.
• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant control processing equipment.
• Repairing steel cable and fabric conveyor belts.
• Welding/fabrication.
• Hydraulic work (hydraulic motors, pumps, etc.).
• Understanding plant designs and processes with plant equipment and facilities.
• Reading and/or using blueprints and schematics.
• All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a work ethic that allows him/her to demonstrate his/her ability daily with minimal supervision.
• Must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills and an ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Must be willing to work in adverse conditions including, but not limited to, extreme heat, cold, dust, rain, snow and wind, as well as frequent contact with grease and dirt.
• The successful candidate must possess or obtain Wyoming Mine Foreman certification within one year of accepting position.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
• Plant and/or general heavy maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
