We’re looking for Host professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska.What You’ll DoAs a Black Diamond Club Floor Host, you’ll play a vital role in exposing our guests to luxury on the threshold of adventure. Designed and curated for special guests looking for the best in luxury, service and amenities, you will connect guests to exclusive dining experiences, the top experts and more! The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail and understanding of building relationships and rapport with both internal and external partners to provide the best possible guest experience.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival; ensuring a seamless check-in experience.
  • Establish personal rapport with our guests through personalized and authentic interactions during their stay.
  • Ensure discretion and confidentiality when handling guest requests.
  • Anticipate preferences and exceed the needs and expectations of our Club Floor guests.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all departments before, during and after guest departure.
  • Provide personalized recommendations and assistance in booking local attractions, dining, entertainment and special events.
  • Acts as the point of contact for all Club Floor guests; addressing any concerns immediately with all stakeholders and required leadership.
  • Ensure the Club Lounge and Club Corridors are always kept immaculate, liaising with Housekeeping team to maintain the ambiance and overall guest experience.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of morning, afternoon and evening offerings in the Club Lounge. Quality is paramount in our presentation.

What We Need

  • Proven hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Previous hotel, luxury, or guest service experience typically acquired in a Full-Service Hotel or comparable Hospitality Operations experience preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and vendors is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of employees and guests.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are always celebrated.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Alaska, Tap certified, Food Handlers card.

What to Expect
Be on alert and at times, on your feet for long periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Work in a luxury, high-end resort environment. Adapt to seasonal changes around the resort and special events.
