Job summary

UFC GYM Woodbridge in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu Black Belt or Brown Belt to lead and grow our program. The role focuses on teaching youth and adults, creating a welcoming training environment, and helping students develop technique, confidence, and discipline.

This part-time position offers approximately 6–9 hours per week with weekday evenings and at least one weekend class. You will promote belt promotions, support seminars and events, and have opportunities for

Qualifications

• Belt level: Brown or Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
• Experience teaching Youth and/or Adult classes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Passion for helping students succeed.
• Reliable, professional, and positive attitude.
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging Youth and Adult Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu classes.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and professional training environment.
• Help students develop proper technique, confidence, and discipline.
• Assist with belt promotions and student development.
• Support in‑house seminars, special events, and tournaments.
• Promote a positive team culture and strong sense of community.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional mat area.
