This is a remote position.

Job Description:
Maintain and Manage Hardware:

  • Workstations
  • PC Windows
  • Internet / Network / Server
  • Multiple ISPs
  • Cisco Firewall/Switches/Routers/Cables
  • VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, Subnets, QoS, Port forwarding, Log Analysis

Maintain and Manage Software:

  • Desktop / Server
  • Active Directory/Domain Controller
  • Windows 10 including but not limited to Workgroups, user, file sharing, security, networking
  • Working Knowledge of VMWare ESXi
  • Mobile: Android and iPhone app install and configuration
  • Web / SaaS: GSuite, Salesforce, Adobe CC
  • Working Knowledge of Google Cloud and AWS
  • Windows Server 2008 – 2016
  • Windows Terminal Server / Remote Desktop Services

Equipment Procurement: The IT Specialist must be able to identify problems, recommend solutions, estimate cost, get approval from finance, and work with vendors to source and install equipment while minimizing negative operations impact.

Technical Support / IT Help Desk Role:

  • End-User PC Support
  • Remote Off-Site employee technical support
  • IT Vendor and Service Provider Point of Contact
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain vendor relationships
  • Work with vendors on the ground when service or implementations required

Qualifications:
Work well with others in a fast-paced office environment.
Strong communication skills.
IT or Engineering Degree / Certifications.
5+ years of professional experience in a similar or related role.
Demonstrated success in related projects/system support.
