Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Design Release Engineer to lead the development and release of body closure sheet metal and hinging systems from concept to production. You will coordinate with electromechanical, electrical, lighting, and trim teams, validate via CAE, and ensure manufacturability throughout the program lifecycle.

The role requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, with strong NX and Teamcenter skills and DFMEA/DVP&R

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years of engineering experience in relevant domain.
• Proficiency with Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter for design release.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering, design, and release of body closure sheet metal and hinging systems.
• Coordinate packaging requirements with electromechanical, electrical, lighting, and trim teams.
• Ensure CAE scorecard and manufacturing feasibility goals are met through validation activities.
• Maintain and update DVP&R and DFMEA documents.
• Support suppliers for quality actions and Vehicle Operations activities.
