Job summary

River seeks a Host & Producer to be the face of our video content, presenting on camera with warmth and authority while building trust about money and Bitcoin. You’ll shoot most footage yourself and guide the finished edits to keep the energy of the moment.

You will interview subjects, collaborate with the Video Content Strategist, and ensure scripts fit your natural voice. Base NYC; remote across the U.S.

Qualifications

• On-camera presence to deliver scripted explainers with warmth and authority.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate clearly on camera.
• Portfolio showing self-shot and produced footage.
• Strong production skills including lighting, framing, and audio.
• A ownership mindset and bias for iteration to improve every video.
• Curiosity about money and Bitcoin and comfort discussing it on camera.
• High integrity as a visible face of the brand.

Responsibilities

• Be the recognizable face of our videos, presenting with clarity, warmth, and authority.
• Shoot your own footage anywhere and own production quality outside a studio.
• Plan, scout, and run end-to-end shoots to secure high-quality footage on schedule.
• Own the craft edit: define color, sound, B-roll, and motion-graphics direction.
• Direct our editor to preserve the energy of the moment captured on set.
• Conduct interviews for feature-style videos when needed.
