Job Responsibilities

• Operate various welding equipment and processes, including Arc, Hardfacing, Brazing, and Tacking.
• Weld and hardface components on weld positioners.
• Ensure safety practices are followed and examine workpieces for defects.
• Use hand and power tools, select and install torches, and adjust gas flows.
• Prepare materials, position workpieces, preheat, and guide welding flames or electrodes.
• Analyze drawings and specifications for planning.
• Perform minor repairs and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hardfacing and brazing is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Follow engineering prints and specifications.
• Proper use and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Computer skills to access specifications and prints.

Success Factors

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts standing on your feet.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints.
