Job summary

Yora Nordic Spa | Brownstone, Connecticut is building a founding Bistro Service Attendant team. You will welcome guests, assist with seating and reservations, prepare dining spaces, and help ensure the dining area feels warm, organized, and guest-ready.

You’ll support servers and bartenders, maintain clean stations, follow safety standards, and adapt to mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. No prior restaurant experience is required; a friendly, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn

The Opportunity

We're looking for Bistro Service Attendants who enjoy connecting with people, thrive in a team environment, and take pride in creating welcoming spaces.

As a Bistro Service Attendant, you'll help bring this experience to life by welcoming and seating guests, preparing dining spaces, supporting our Servers and Bartenders, and ensuring service flows smoothly.

Whether it's a warm greeting, a perfectly prepared table, or anticipating a guest's needs before they ask, you'll play an important role in making every visit feel effortless and memorable.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and hospitality, helping them feel comfortable and at ease.
• Assist with guest seating, reservations, waitlists, and table availability.
• Clear, clean, reset, and prepare tables to maintain a beautiful and welcoming Bistro environment.
• Support Servers and Bartenders with food and beverage delivery, water service, and table maintenance.
• Keep dining areas and service stations clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready.
• Communicate with the Bistro and Kitchen teams to support smooth, efficient service.
• Respond to guest questions and requests with attentiveness and professionalism.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily service preparations.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to create a relaxed, social, and enjoyable guest experience.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized during busy periods.
• A willingness to learn about our menu, service standards, and wellness philosophy.
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or guest-service experience is an asset, but not required.
• Willingness to obtain required food safety or responsible alcohol service certifications, as applicable.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This is an active role that involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and moving throughout the Bistro during service.
