Job summary

Calyx Living is seeking an energetic Bistro Prep for our BRAND NEW assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex, located in Apex, NC. You will work with a small crew in the bistro, preparing and presenting meals to residents and contributing to a welcoming dining experience.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with past cooking experience in a senior living setting, able to follow recipes, maintain food safety standards, and interact professionally with residents.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience a must.
• Follow recipes and plate food attractively.
• Understand and comply with state regulations for food service.
• Prepare, organize and handle minimal special requests for senior residents.
• Interact with residents in a professional and friendly manner.
• Be quick and efficient during peak meal service times.
• Available to work weekends.

Calyx is looking to hire NOW a Bistro Prep who is enthusiastic about working with a small crew in our bistro, impacting the lives of seniors by preparing and presenting food. The ideal candidate would be a self- starter with past experience cooking and preparing meals in a senior living setting.
