As a Bistro Breakfast Attendant/Server, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service within our dining environment. This position includes a variety of responsibilities, such as kitchen support, food preparation, and serving customers, all while ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. You will collaborate closely with other Bistro staff and front desk personnel to provide high-quality food and beverage experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring quality and consistency in presentation.
  • Cooking: Cook food to the proper temperature and maintain appropriate food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Serving: Take orders from customers and serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. Provide helpful guidance on menu offerings and respond knowledgeably to any questions.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and service area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and following sanitation protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Bistro staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in stocking inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies, and report any shortages to management.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, address their inquiries, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
  • Adherence to Policies: Follow all food safety guidelines, health regulations, and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective verbal English communication is needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
  • Comfortable working in a busy kitchen and dining environment.
