Job description

The Bistro Attendant is responsible for greeting guests at the Bistro, assisting with their orders, and preparing items as requested. They will collaborate with the kitchen team on food preparation but will be responsible for beverage service. The role includes managing the front of house experience by ensuring tables are properly set and cleared, and guests' needs are met, exceeding their expectations.

1. Attend all departmental and hotel meetings to ensure effective communication and planning.
2. Present menus, answer questions, and take food and beverage orders using suggestive selling techniques.
3. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to maintain positive relations.
4. Compute bills, accept payments, track sales receipts, and ensure tips are reported properly in the MICROS system.
5. Clear and clean tables; reset counters and tables as needed.
6. Maintain a tidy and clean kitchen and wait station, stocking supplies at the end of each shift.
