The YMCA of Greater Hartford is seeking a part-time Birthday Party Attendant in Putnam, CT. Responsibilities include assisting in daily program operations, setting up party spaces, and ensuring fun, engaging activities for children. Must engage with parents, maintain safety, and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications include minimum 16 years old, 6 months to 1 year of experience with children, and CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operation of birthday party program.
• Set up party areas and decorate as needed, and clean up after events.
• Communicate with parents/hosts to meet party needs and expectations.
• Ensure children are safe and engaged during activities.
• Work as part of a YMCA team and follow all policies and procedures.
