Job summary

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Event Attendant to serve as the primary host for rentals, birthdays, and community gatherings. You will greet guests, coordinate with staff, and help create a fun, safe, and welcoming experience.

The ideal candidate has customer service experience, strong guest relations, and excellent verbal and written communication. Some weekend and on‑call shifts are required; English proficiency is essential, Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience or willingness to develop guest relations skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to coordinate with staff and guests.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude and adapt to changing environments.
• Ability to work independently and follow Salvation Army policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patrons and guests.
• Supervise event flow and ensure safety and orderliness of the venue.
• Review event paperwork and confirm details with clients prior to events.
• Set up, breakdown, and clean equipment and spaces; coordinate with maintenance.
