Job summary

The Birth Center Department at Reedsburg Area Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Intern to join their team. The position offers hands-on experience alongside our experienced RNs and supports patient care in a hospital setting.

This role requires approximately 16 hours per week with shifts including Days, Nights and Holidays; the candidate will be a nursing student in ADN/BSN programs and will work under RN supervision to develop clinical skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Active CNA certification preferred.
• Student nurse in 4th semester ADN or 4th year BSN program.
• Completion of basic clinical skills as required by their nursing program.
• Graduate nurses awaiting licensure may practice as Nurse Technician.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Nurse Interns work under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to develop clinical skills.
