Job summary

Lonza seeks a Biotechnologist/ Manufacturing Associate I for the Portsmouth, NH site on a 12-hour night shift (7 PM–7 AM). You’ll operate GMP manufacturing equipment, support CIP/SIP cleanings, and perform basic lab tasks while ensuring safe material handling and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; science degree preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow GMP/regulatory procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment following GMP procedures.
• Set up and support cleaning processes, including CIP and SIP.
• Perform basic lab tasks such as monitoring pH, conductivity, and testing samples.
• Handle and move materials across production areas safely.
• Complete production and documentation records accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces.
• Support team activities, meetings, and continuous improvement efforts.
