Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate II-Cell Therapy to join a GMP-regulated production team supporting clinical and commercial programs. The role operates on a 12 Hour Rotating/B Shift schedule and emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration.

You will contribute to manufacturing operations, tech transfers, and documentation while working with Manufacturing, Quality, and cross-functional teams to deliver life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in biology or related life sciences preferred.
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, cell therapy or related industry.
• Knowledge of GMP principles and regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations within cell therapy production areas while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Support technical transfer and operational readiness activities for new customer programs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and cross-functional teams to deliver clinical and commercial products.
• Train colleagues on new processes, equipment, and manufacturing systems.
• Author, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including batch records, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and operational performance.

What you will do

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
