Job summary

Auxilius is a fast-growing, venture-backed B2B SaaS company revolutionizing how biotechs manage financial operations. You’ll set up new biotech customers on the Auxilius platform, build and QA their trial budgets, accruals, and site payments, and track discrepancies to keep numbers accurate.

Work with Clinical, Product, and Engineering teams, gaining ownership early while scaling onboarding. Travel for onsite training is expected, with quarterly team events.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in meticulous finance or accounting roles in fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for getting numbers right.
• Willingness to adapt in a startup setting and automate manual processes.
• Fluent in Excel, comfortable handling datasets and deriving insights.
• Interest in building skills and projects in AI tools for automation.
• Process-oriented, able to manage multiple work streams carefully.

Responsibilities

• Do the hands-on setup for your own set of customers: enter budgets, contracts, and site data and map trial structure into budget/forecast models.
• Pull budget, payment terms, and milestones from CTAs and change orders; set up accruals and site payments.
• Load and reconcile vendor invoices, CRO fee schedules, and pass-through estimates.
• Configure period-close calendars and reporting cadence; support close during busy periods.
• Cross-check outputs against source documents and audits; maintain data quality.
• Explain numbers clearly and keep data compliant with controls.
• Update enrollment and site activation status as protocols change.
• Document checks and justifications for traceability.
