Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, stem cell biology or related field.
• 1–3 years in a consultative sales, business development, or technical commercial role in biotech or life sciences tools.
• Based in Greater Boston or SF Bay Area with travel about 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and explore new application areas by extending insights from existing use cases and discoveries.
• Proactively seek and generate new business opportunities through outreach, research, and conferences.
• Partner with customers to design experiments that validate new applications and adoption of Portal’s platform.
• Effectively communicate Portal’s capabilities via email, calls, meetings, presentations, and live demos.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to advance partnerships and support deal progression and negotiations.
• Inform product development by understanding customer needs, market dynamics, and industry trends.
