Join to apply for the Biotech Research Scientist role at DataAnnotation.

We are seeking a Biotech Research Scientist to join our team to train AI models. Your responsibilities will include measuring the progress of AI chatbots, evaluating their logic, and solving problems to enhance each model's quality.

Requirements include a strong understanding of biology; a completed or in-progress Masters/PhD is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant fields include, but are not limited to: Microbiology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, and Environmental Science.

This is a full-time or part-time REMOTE position, allowing you to select projects and work on your schedule. Compensation starts at $40+ USD per hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide AI chatbots with diverse and complex biology problems and evaluate their outputs.
2. Assess the quality of AI model outputs for correctness and performance.

Qualifications:

1. A current, in-progress, or completed Masters and/or PhD is preferred but not required.
2. Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
3. Attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in biology, reasoning, experimental design, data interpretation, and systems-level thinking.
