Job summary

Avant Organics is seeking a Process Technician to blend hands-on operation with preventive maintenance and commissioning support as we scale production. You’ll troubleshoot, monitor reactors and other equipment, and help establish SOPs for scalable processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in Math, Biology, or Chemistry preferred.
• Post-secondary certificate in agriculture, natural resources or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control chemical processing equipment to maintain production conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on pumps, valves, compressors, and instrumentation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in real time.
