Job summary

Orca Bio is seeking a Material Planner to ensure material availability for clinical and commercial manufacturing. You will translate production plans and demand into material requirements, coordinating with Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, QC, and suppliers to keep materials ready for manufacturing campaigns and patient delivery.

Requirements include an AS degree (BS preferred), 3+ years in material planning in regulated environments, and strong analytical and collaboration skills to thrive in a

Qualifications

• A.S. degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in material planning, supply planning, production planning, inventory management, or similar in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for material planning and inventory management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced GMP environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material requirements based on production plans, forecasts, and BOMs.
• Monitor inventory levels, shelf life, and replenishment parameters to ensure material availability.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, QC and suppliers to ensure timely material flow.
• Identify and communicate material shortages or risks impacting schedules or delivery.
• Review production schedules and confirm material readiness for campaigns and patient-specific production.
