Job summary

Kashiv BioSciences, LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I (DS) to perform upstream fermentation and downstream purification for microbial-based biosimilars in a cGMP environment.

The role requires an Associate degree or higher (or HS diploma with 1–2 years industry experience), aseptic techniques, cleanroom work, and the ability to follow SOPs, batch records, and safety policies on site.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related preferred, or HS diploma with 1–2 years of industry experience.
• Aseptic techniques and cleanroom manufacturing experience preferred, ability to follow GMP/SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to perform key responsibilities and maintain quality data.
• Weighing and dispensing materials, media and buffer preparation, and operation of filtration systems.
• Inoculation, fermentation, harvest, and chromatography setup; aseptic final filtration of intermediates and drug substances.
• Complete Batch Records and cGMP documentation accurately and timely.
