Job summary

Kashiv BioSciences, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Manufacturing Associate I (DS) to join a hands-on production team responsible for microbial biosimilars, upstream fermentation, and downstream purification in GMP cleanrooms.

The role requires following SOPs, performing batch records, operating chromatography, and maintaining ALCOA++ documentation, with shift hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related preferred OR high school diploma and 1-2 years of industry experience required
• Aseptic techniques and cleanroom manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and instructions to perform responsibilities and maintain quality data.
• Weighing and dispensing materials.
• Operate filtration systems (dead end filtration, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration).
• Inoculation, fermentation, harvest, and homogenization of cytokine cells.
• Set up and operate chromatography columns.
• Aseptic final filtration of intermediates and drug substances.
• Enter batch records accurately in MES and maintain ALCOA++ documentation.
