Job summary

Genetix Biotherapeutics is seeking a Paralegal and Legal & Compliance Operations Manager to support its legal, compliance, and corporate governance functions. You will manage contract lifecycle, oversee regulatory reporting, and help maintain corporate records.

Hybrid role based in the Boston area (Somerville, MA), three days per week in the office, with travel <10%. Candidates should have 7+ years in paralegal or compliance, plus experience in biopharma or medical devices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in paralegal, legal operations, or compliance
• 3+ years in-house within biopharma or medical device sectors
• Knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws and regulatory reporting

Responsibilities

• Administer contract management systems
• Draft routine agreements
• Coordinate cross-functional review
• Track compliance reporting (Open Payments, state transparency)
• Support entity filings and governance records
• Coordinate outside counsel management, budget tracking, and audits
• HighValue: healthcare compliance incl. Sunshine Act and state transparency laws
