Job summary

Bio-Techne in Minnesota is seeking a Lab Support Technician to join the Protein Sciences segment. You will perform lab support duties, harvest and concentrate cell culture media, and assist in preparation of buffers, solutions, plates, and consumables for production.

The role requires a high school diploma, familiarity with Word and Excel, the ability to multi-task, and strong communication. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; strong Word/Excel and typing skills desirable.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• IT/computer entry skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate autoclave, labware washer and hand wash labware per protocols.
• Harvest and concentrate conditioned media for product purification and cGMP production.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; organize inventory and labware.
• Handle hazardous waste following safety procedures.
• Document laboratory methods accurately.
• Perform preparation of buffers, solutions, media, plates and consumables.
