Job summary

A fast-paced biotechnology firm in Waltham, Massachusetts is seeking a Lab Manager with at least 2 years of lab management experience to oversee laboratory operations and ensure efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This role involves managing lab supplies, maintaining safety procedures, and supporting projects as needed. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of lab management experience.
• Experience with laboratory supply/resupply and inventory management systems is a plus.
• Ability to learn new management software when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for lab operations and animal facility.
• Manage laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and lab safety procedures.
• Oversee digital organization and maintenance of lab inventories.
• Manage and order essential lab supplies in a timely manner.
• Conduct research for alternative suppliers for better logistics and pricing.
