Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience managing and operating instructional lab programs.
• 3+ years teaching biotechnology or related lab courses at undergrad/grad level.
• Experience supervising staff and training in instrumentation and safety.

Aufgaben

• Lead and teach biotechnology lab courses (wet lab and instrumentation) for undergrad and grad.
• Manage logistics, safety, scheduling, QA/QC of BTEC teaching labs.
• Oversee central facility operations: Bioreactor 1–5 L, and instrument suites (LC-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, FPLC, IC, FTIR, UV/Vis, qRT-PCR).
• Develop and update curricula, SOPs, rubrics, and experiential modules aligned with industry.
• Supervise teaching staff and student assistants; train users in best practices and data quality.
• Engage with industry/research partners to build internships and capstone projects.
• Contribute to program assessment, accreditation reports, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor students in careers, lab skills, and professional development.
