Job summary

AbCellera Biologics Inc. seeks motivated Bachelor’s students in Biology or related fields for a 12-month internship starting January 2027. Based in Vancouver, on-site, you’ll contribute to antibody discovery projects across multiple science teams.

You will gain hands-on bench experience in biology, protein science, translational science, and process development while receiving mentorship and professional development support from AbCellera colleagues.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Biology or related field; preferred related disciplines.
• Previous wet-lab experience and benchwork.
• Strong documentation, organization and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
• Curiosity and problem-solving mindset for antibody drug discovery.

Responsibilities

• Biology Focus: support high-throughput screening and cell handling workflows.
• Protein Science: assist DNA cloning, library production and protein purification tasks.
• Translational Science: support PK studies and in vivo models using standard lab techniques.
• Process Development: run routine analyses and operate analytical instruments.
• Quality Control: assist GMP-related activities and data review.
