Job summary

Locus Fermentation Solutions, Solon, OH, is seeking a Process Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability of our fermentation plant equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and process equipment. The role focuses on inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to support production goals in a regulated, clean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or industrial maintenance (e.g. CMRP, CFMA) are advantageous.
Must read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems (HVAC, boilers, pumps, plumbing, electrical).Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair process equipment to minimize downtime.Monitor water treatment and wastewater systems to ensure environmental compliance.Inspect and maintain piping, valves, and pumps used in fermentation processes.Follow safety protocols including LOTO, confined spaces, and hazardous materials handling.
