Amgen is hiring a Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy scalable data engineering, ML, and analytics solutions advancing Clinical Development. You will partner with CfDA and cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into robust data pipelines and visualization tools.

Ideal candidates bring a PhD/MD/PharmD or a master's with several years of related experience, strong Python/R coding skills, and a track record in cloud and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (PhD) OR PharmD OR MD.
• Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience OR Bachelor's with 5+ years of related experience.
• Proven ability to write robust code in R and Python.
• Working knowledge of ML algorithms and approaches (NNs, RF, NLP).
• Proficiency with Linux and shell commands.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research scientists to develop AI and advanced analytics to speed drug research.
• Design, implement, and test data/ML pipelines and analytic solutions.
• Capture business requirements and translate into analytics deliverables.
• Train users in the CfDA Data Science solutions and promote adoption.
• Contribute to process improvements and policy development.
