Scholar Rock, a late-stage biopharmaceutical company in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Senior Manager, Contracts to draft, revise, and negotiate a high volume of agreements across Development, Research, Marketing, Regulatory and G&A. You will manage the contracts program, collaborate with external counsel, and contribute to process improvements as the team scales for a first product launch.

The role reports to the Contracts Director and supports cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating biotech-related agreements such as master service agreements and SOWs.
• Experience negotiating research, clinical trial, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial contracts.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and good time management.
• Strong written and oral communication, with concise business-facing advice.
• Familiarity with contract management systems like Ironclad and DocuSign is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting and negotiations of contracts related to Development, Research, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality and G&A functions.
• Maintain contracts management systems and provide company-wide training as needed.
• Provide risk-aware legal advice that aligns with business objectives.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and build strong internal relationships.
