Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for the position of Research Instructor of Biostatistics. This faculty role is affiliated with the Data Science Shared Resource at Hollings Cancer Center, SC's only NCI-designated cancer center.

Required qualifications include an MS or MPH in statistics/biostatistics or a related field with at least two years of relevant experience and strong data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• MS or MPH in statistics/biostatistics or related field is required.
• At least two years of relevant experience at the time of appointment.
• Excellent data analysis skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct of early phase oncology therapeutic trials and related trials.
• Develop statistical methodology to advance cancer research.
• Collaborate on joint grant proposals with cancer center members.
• Design of pre-clinical, translational and epidemiological studies.
• Familiarity with ICH E6/E9 and NIH data standards; trial monitoring and reporting.
