Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for a Research Instructor of Biostatistics within the Data Science Shared Resource of the Hollings Cancer Center. A MS or MPH in statistics/biostatistics, or related field, with at least two years of relevant experience, is required.

The successful candidate will collaborate with clinical researchers on early phase oncology trials and translational studies, develop statistical methodologies, and contribute to grant proposals

Qualifications

• MS or MPH in statistics/biostatistics or related field required.
• At least two years relevant experience at the time of appointment.
• Strong data analysis and statistical methodology skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Hollings Cancer Center researchers on trial design and analysis.
• Develop statistical methods to advance cancer Research.
• Contribute to joint grant proposals and protocol development.
