Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science or Public Health; Master's preferred.
• 1–3 years related work experience.
• Proficient in running SAS statistical analysis procedures.
• Understanding of statistical concepts and SAS procedures; familiarity with epidemiological and QA principles.
• Prior research experience.
• Ability to create analytic files by merging large databases.
• Ability to create tables and figures reflecting analysis results.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• May produce complex documents and maintain databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and management of data storage using Access, Excel and other systems.
• Use SAS and other software to create analytic files from large databases.
• Carry out statistical analyses of large and small datasets using SAS, SUDAAN and related tools.
• Create tables and figures reflecting analysis results.
• Support Division trainees and staff with programming questions at PI discretion.
