Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Biostatistical Programming Manager to lead an FSP-based programming group supporting CfOR’s Data & Analytic Center in the United States. The role prioritizes collaboration with functional leads and driving efficiency in statistical programming across SAS, Databricks, and R.

Ideal candidates bring advanced degrees and extensive SAS programming experience, with strong leadership and project-management skills to mentor junior staff and uphold quality across analyses.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with required experience as listed in the ad.
• Bachelor’s with sufficient professional experience may qualify.
• Strong programming skills in SAS, R, SQL and Python preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead an FSP-based programming team conducting analyses supporting CfOR’s Data & Analytic Center
• Coordinate with functional leads to prioritize and manage workflow
• Identify potential efficiency improvements and propose solutions
• Collaborate with CfOR FSP liaison to ensure performance and quality standards
• Write, test and validate programs in SAS, Databricks, or R
• Mentor junior programmers and support department goals
