Job summary

LabConnect is seeking a Laboratory Technician – Biospecimen Operations in Cleveland, OH to process and aliquot samples, including nucleic acid extractions and PBMC/BMMC isolations, ensuring sample integrity per client specifications.

Responsibilities include maintaining instrument maintenance records, managing reagents, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet client expectations in a global laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or related field, or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Experience with nucleic acid extraction and sample processing preferred.
• Familiarity with biospecimen handling and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Process and aliquot samples per SOPs.
• Perform nucleic acid extraction and purification.
• Isolate and stabilize blood cells per client specifications.
• Document maintenance of instruments and manage reagents.
• Register and track samples in the specimen management system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations.
