Qualifications

• Missouri C level wastewater license within 1 year.
• Two years of machine operating experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of electricity, pumps, hydraulics and wastewater procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspects equipment to ensure safe and correct operation.
• Troubleshoots a variety of mechanical issues and takes corrective action.
• Performs lubrication and greasing.
• Operates forklift and track loader for dryer pellet inventory management.
• Maintains and reviews paper and electronic bio solids records.
• Identifies and resolves complex process issues using data and trends.
• Performs maintenance of equipment instrumentation.
• Assembles data for annual bio solids report.
• Conducts on-the-job orientation and training of new operators.
• Collects samples for laboratory analysis following chain of custody procedures.
• Conducts field analysis using moisture balance and SGN scale.
• Maintains utility water filter systems.
